Management

Formulas for Business Success

Success is possible by knowing and applying some simple, basic fundamentals. There are very definite and exact operating states and any activity, business or person is in one of these states (conditions) at any given time.

Whether a business or activity is badly failing or just remaining the same, such operating states can always be bettered if the correct steps (formula) are followed. These formulas are, actually, part and parcel to any activity and apply to all areas. There are even formulas for an activity that is already doing well (improving) to ensure that it continues to be successful.

The Formulas for Business Success course will teach you the data you need to know to help you increase your income, make your business succeed or improve the condition of any aspect of your career.

It teaches the exact operating states or conditions of any business, whether new or existing and the steps to take to improve the business. The information you learn can be used in business and in life to help you operate more efficiently and effectively.

Prerequisite: None
Duration: 6 Days Full Time - 12 Days Part Time

Management by Statistics

Statistics are indicators. They are not a thing in themselves. A statistic is simply an index of things as they have been and they inform you of the relative need of action.

Graphs are used to make differences in statistics over specific periods of time visible. They instantly show whether a statistic is rising, falling or running level. Statistics refer to the quantity of work done or the value of it in money. They measure production. Thus one can manage by statistics. When one is managing by statistics they must be studied and judged alongside the other related statistics.

Having a correct statistic for a job is very important. For instance for a shoe salesman, 'number of hours worked' or 'number of shoes fitted' would not actually measure his production. A correct static for the shoe salesman could be 'number of shoes correctly fitted and sold' and this would reflect the actual desired production. He could keep this statistic on a daily or even an hourly basis.

This course teaches how to use statistics and graphs to show how much any business or organisational area is producing. It also shows how to use statistics to analyse the operations of an organisation and how to use statistics for management decision making.
